Missing You Poems

We often experience great anxiety when we are separated from our loved ones. Missing you poems are a good platform for expressing distress or grief in his/her absence. Poems have always been a good representation of human emotions. Any emotion whether it's happiness, joy or grief is best expressed via poems. We humans are very meticulous about our relationships. Be it any relationship; it is based on a strong foundation of love and trust. With the passage of time, we deeply get attached to the people who love and care for us. At times, when these special people are not around or have moved ahead in their life; we tend to miss them a lot. Absence intensifies the feelings of love. Some people like to share this feeling through letters and some prefer to go by miss you poems.

In a love relationship, lovers always want to be with each other. Distance elevates the feelings of love and romance to a much larger extent. What better way than a miss you poem can convey the feeling of solitude and loneliness to your beloved? They are one of the best ways to make her/him know that how madly you are in love with her/him. No other gift can match the effectiveness of a miss you poem.

William Ross has very well said "Every man dies - Not every man really lives." Death is one truth that no one can alter. A death of a family member creates a void that can never be filled by anybody. "Death of a loved one or someone near or dear to us reminds us of our fragility and weakness.'' It is a moment of great despair and sadness. One turns completely speechless and helpless. A mourning poem can never repair the loss but it can surely lessen the pain of this tragic loss. They are really helpful in soothing one's aching soul. Sometimes, people go into deep depression with the loss of a family member especially when that someone is your father or mother. These poems are a real source of inspiration for those moments. The following extracts are the perfect example of a depression poem.

"The day you answered God's call
Left an empty space
My world came crashing down
I couldn't breathe…couldn't talk…
I felt so numb, I couldn't walk...….

Now its time for me to let you go
The hardest thing I've ever had to do...….''

The ability to sympathize is one of the biggest traits that we humans possess. When our near and dear ones are in great pain, the least we can do for them is sharing their feelings of sorrow. A sympathy poem will give the grieved person a great strength.

Authors like Shakespeare, Lord Byron, Charles Dickens and Oscar Wilde have written some great poems on this subject.
